Traditional landscape painting and plein air sketching have been at the core of my practice for over a decade.

Since 2014, I have continuously documented the places I travel through watercolor and gouache paintings, creating an extensive collection of visual diaries and travel sketchbooks.

Working directly from life allows me to establish a deeper connection with the environment and capture the changing atmosphere, light and emotional memory of a place.

Watercolor and gouache remain my primary medium for travel painting due to their immediacy and portability, although I occasionally also work with acrylics and oils - especially for bigger formats.

You can explore more of this ongoing project in the Visual Diaries section.
