LIFE & TRAVEL PAINTING SKETCHES
A living archive of my journey and art
Since my early twenties I’ve been documenting life through art, and since 2014
I’ve been consistently filling my sketchbooks - capturing each place I visit.
These sketchbooks are my visual diaries, filled with fleeting moments, painted mostly
in watercolor and gouache or drawn with a few quick pen or graphite lines.
Guided by curiosity and presence, I paint and draw wherever I go, using art as
a way to truly see and register the world.
For me, painting is a form of meditation - a pause, even if just for a moment,
to observe and capture the essence of what is in front of me.
Nature, cultural diversity, and the rhythm of travel inspire me to slow down, to look closer, and to translate what I experience into colors, lines, and stories.

I treat each sketchbook as a season of my life, which are also divided for chapters - whether it's a quick trip or a longer stay, usually based by the change of location.
As of 2025 - I have filled 10 books, where each page is a registered moment in time and space, carrying a story behind.
I invite you to browse through all of them and read what was happening in each of my life's seasons.

I travel a lot - for me it is a way of experiencing life and surrounding us world to the fullest. To show the scale but also to make it easier for anyone (including myself) to document and browse through the sketches, I have created an interactive map where I mark all the places that I sketched at.
This map is constantly growing as I keep traveling and creating.
Each point on the map shows one or more of the following:

sketches and paintings created on location
-
backstage moments from the process
-
links to YouTube videos when a film was made about that place or sketch
-
possibility to order each sketch as a print
Disclaimer: It is an ongoing work in progress so many points may still be missing files, but I am actively working on adding all to the map
