After completing the first sketchbook I have decided to continue my visual diaries and here I followed with the next one that began together with my 2 week trip to Tatra Mountains.
​
I had been visiting mountains almost each year due to my mom's organizing trips for kids from the school she's been working at and I would be joining them whenever I had a chance - first as a kid as well and later on already as an adult, just to have a reason to visit this marvelous place again.
​
​
At the end of 2015 I was mostly spending my life on studies - I have began the 1st semester of master's degree at Academy of Art in Szczecin only to take a dean's break right when the year 2016 began. I have found that I know perfectly what I need to do to improve my painting skills and studies are only taking away the time I could spend on studying on my own.
​
In December I have visited Cuenca once again and painted the same spot from one of the first sketches I have painted in the first sketchbook. Here you can see the comparison when I have only used watercolors and when I have added gouache, also with a one year progression:
