My name is Iga and I am a freelance illustrator based in Berlin.  I focus on digital illustration and characters but I also love traditional  plein air painting, especially spontaneous gouache sketches - creating a ‘visual diary’ of the places I’ve visited. I’m also very interested in researching various cultures, especially the tribes of Africa and Oceania.

I am currently working on an African mythology based project called The Wagadu Chronicles helping with visual development. In the past I worked in a game studio called Wooga painting characters for June's Journey game and I also took a part in "Loving Vincent" - a first fully painted feature film as a painter animator.
